OMG Smoothie

Yeah, this smoothie is so good it’ll have you talking like some tween girl who’s got Twilight posters plastered all over her bedroom. You’ll be like: “OMG! This smoothie is toates delish! #bestsmoothieever”

OK, maybe not. It is a darn fine smoothie though, if I do say so myself. Aside from my usual base smoothie ingredients, orange, mango, and ginger give this one the bulk of its flavor (and, if it isn’t obvious by now, it’s namesake).

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh banana
  • 1 orange (or a tangelo, but then the name of the smoothie wouldn’t make sense)
  • 1 small piece of peeled ginger (about the size of the first joint on your index finger)
  • 1 serving of vanilla yogurt
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango cubes

Directions

  1. Add all of the non-frozen ingredients together and mix until liquefied.
  2. Add the frozen ingredients and mix until smooth.
    Add a little water if your smoothie gets too thick for your liking (or your blender).

(Makes about 24oz. or 3 cups)
