Going Back To Districts

It was another great year for the 3.0 Men’s team from the Longmont Tennis Association. We played in the Northern Colorado flight of the 2012 USTA Adult leagues this year and managed to win our division with a 7-2 record. This earned us another trip to the District Championships in Denver. The District Championships is where all the best teams from all over the state come together to determine who will go on to the Regional Championships. We were very proud to make it there for a second year in a row.

Tennis Medals

We only won a single match as a team last year and we were hoping to improve on that record this time around. Sadly, it was not to be. We finished with an 0-3 record as a team this year, my undefeated streak came to an end, and worst of all, one of my teammates tore his achilles tendon.

The Team

This year we had a handful of new faces on the team and next year looks like a few of us will be moving on once again. I enjoyed playing on this team and meeting all the guys. Hopefully we’ll continue to see each other on the courts. Thanks for a great year everyone!
