Blue Peach Smoothie

I mentioned a while back that I had been making some smoothies for breakfast and that I intended to share some of my recipes here. Well, honestly, I’m not that creative in the recipe department, or in the mornings for that matter, so my morning smoothies haven’t been too exciting. This one isn’t real exciting either, but I was surprised at how simple it was and how good it tasted so I thought I’d share.


  • 1 fresh banana
  • 1/2 cup of vanilla yoghurt
  • 1 scoop of protein powder (or toss in a handful of almonds for a little protein)
  • 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup of frozen peach slices


  1. Add all of the non-frozen ingredients together and mix until liquified.
  2. Add the frozen ingredients and mix until smooth.
    Add a little water if your smoothie gets too thick for your liking (or your blender).

(Makes about 24oz. or 3 cups)
